Meet our LGBT+ Officer

My name is Owen and I currently work on Glenside Campus as part of the HAS SAT team.

I have been a long time UNISON member across a number of jobs inside and outside of the university.

Recently I have been inspired to become more involved with the union and to represent and promote the interests of my fellow LGBT+ workers.

I recognise this is a difficult time for LGBT+ workers and I pledge to do my utmost to help our members achieve a state of fairness and respect in the workplace.

Outside of my time at UWE I am a musician and artist as well as a volunteer at Bristol’s Cube Cinema
